Indiana Jones 5 Script Reportedly Leaks and Harrison Ford Is Already Injured

Uncategorized

Early last week, we reported about how Indiana Jones 5 leaked images showed an older Harrison Ford who was not looking up to the task. We’ve talked many times about how this movie might have been held up too long, and that a single injury could doom the film. Well, the woes keep coming for director James Mangold and company, because not only does the script appear to have leaked, but Harrison Ford is already hurt.

Coming to us from Mr H Reviews, it appears that the entire script for Indiana Jones is now out there somewhere. While not everything in the leak is totally accurate, much of it lines up with what we believe to be scripted. Some of that may be due to the original post on Reddit pulling from legitimate leaks, as well as a “false flag” leak mean to confuse reporters. We checked for the OP this morning, but it seems to have been scrubbed; however, due to the aforementioned YouTuber, we’ve got the alleged script. Big time potential spoilers up ahead, and you have been warned.

So what have we found out from these reported leaks?

The working title for the project is allegedly called Indiana Jones and the Order of Elysium. It starts in 1945, so we’ll have prime Indy, and it goes until 1967. As we’ve reported previously, it involves the Space Race and NASA. The object everyone is chasing after is the Chronos Stone, which allows for time-travel stuff to be brought into the story. Indiana Jones is fighting against the Americans in this movie as he works against NASA. John Rhys-Davis and Karen Allen will both make cameo appearances. Ghost versions of old Indiana Jones enemies will all be featured as well.

Frankly, it doesn’t sound great.

On top of the script reportedly leaking due to someone not being very careful with it in Scotland (and we’re including it in this article because there are credible photos), James Mangold has another big, big problem on his hands.

According to Deadline, Harrison Ford is already injured, and it wasn’t even while shooting. The actor was damaged simply in rehearsing a fighting scene, and will now be unable to participate in filming as scheduled. Mangold will be adjusting the filming schedule to compensate while Ford rehabilitates his shoulder.

“In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder. Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.” — The Walt Disney Company

None of this, not one bit of this, is good. The script sounds convoluted. The lead actor is injured. The director has a serious issue with leaks, whether that’s photos or the entire movie script.

At least the images of Harrison Ford in his professorial attire were looking much better…
